The Fourth Annual COMMUNITY GARDENS DAY will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 10am-2pm (rain date June 18).
From tranquil spots filled with flowers and trees to bountiful vegetable gardens that produce healthy food, there are hundreds of community gardens across Philadelphia.
Community Gardens Day is a celebration of these shared open spaces, which bring so many benefits to Philadelphia’s communities and its environment. Participating gardens will welcome visitors to enjoy an array of activities from workdays, tours, workshops, kids’ activities, barbeques and much more.
The Neighborhood Gardens Trust can’t wait to celebrate the importance of community gardens to Philadelphia, to its communities and to you!
